Job Title: Environmental Services Assistant

Job Description
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide support for the operational success of our hospital. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control guidelines, and performing various cleaning tasks.
  • As an Environmental Services Assistant, you will work closely with our team to ensure that all areas, including wards and operating theatres, meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • You will be expected to manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team-focused environment.


Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility to work morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to identify risks and hazards and report promptly to maintain safety measures.

Additional Information
  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
