About the Role



  • Food Preparation: Prepare and assemble meals to meet hospital and dietary specifications.
  • Time Management: Adhere to internal KPIs in a high-volume environment.
  • Stock Management: Control food production and manage stock levels.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to ensure meal quality and safety.
  • Team Coordination: Oversee Catering Assistants as needed.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.


Location: Adelaide, South Australia.


Requirements



  • Commercial Cookery Certificate III or IV (Required).
  • Hospital Experience: Experience in a hospital setting is highly regarded.
  • Commitment: Must undergo a medical assessment and obtain a National Police Clearance (Required).
  • Flexibility: Available for day shifts and occasional overtime.
  • Reliability: Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Passion: A strong love for food and dedication to quality in healthcare.
