Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated VR General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Cairns QLD.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Scope of Practice
  • Women's and Men's Health: Provide comprehensive care for women and men, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
  • Skin Cancer Screening and Treatment: Conduct thorough skin cancer assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with suspicious lesions.
  • Scuba Diving Medicals: Perform medical examinations and issue certificates for scuba divers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Cosmetic Medicine: Offer cosmetic treatments, including fillers, to enhance the appearance of patients.
  • Comprehensive and Chronic Care: Manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease, through regular monitoring and treatment planning.
  • Lifestyle and Preventive Medicine: Promote healthy lifestyle choices and provide preventive care measures to prevent diseases.
  • HIV, Hepatitis B, and C Treatment: Diagnose and treat HIV, hepatitis B, and C infections, working closely with infectious disease specialists if necessary.
  • Tropical and Travel Medicine: Provide expert advice on tropical diseases, travel-related illnesses, and vaccinations for travelers.
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Fellowed VR General Practitioner
