About the RoleWe are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused individual to join our high-performing team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing complex hydraulic systems.
Your Responsibilities- Restore damaged hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and valves to optimal working condition
- Maintain and repair hydraulic power units and systems to ensure peak performance
- Analyze and troubleshoot faults in hydraulic circuits and control systems
- Install and modify hydraulic power units, tubes, and hoses to meet specific requirements
- Enhance hydraulic system operations for improved efficiency and productivity
- Operate precision machinery to produce high-quality parts through turning, boring, milling, honing, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
- Perform welding repairs and fabricate sub-frames to exacting standards
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Promote collaboration and contribute to team discussions
- Accurately complete paperwork and service records in a timely manner
- You must be currently undertaking your third or fourth year of apprenticeship in a related field
- You hold a minimum Year 12 High School Certificate with a strong focus on mathematical and mechanical skills
- You possess exceptional initiative, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- You are comfortable operating a range of power tools and have a passion for technical work
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
- You are able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
- You exhibit a positive attitude and genuine desire to learn and develop new skills
