Gis/Spatial Analyst Data And Analytics

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Spatial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support business decision-making.

This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for spatial analysis, data visualization, and problem-solving. If you have a strong background in ESRI ArcGIS products, experience with FME and other data pipelines, and excellent coding skills, we want to hear from you.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Visualize, transform, and analyze spatial data using ArcGIS Pro/Desktop, FME, and open source software;
  • Develop batch ingestion and data transformation routines using ETL tools or other techniques;
  • Present data in graphs, charts, tables, etc., and design relational databases for collecting data;
  • Analyze trends, patterns, and correlations in complex datasets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with ESRI suite of products (ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise) and other open source GIS software;
  • Configuration and coordination of FME and other data pipelines across projects;
  • Data pipeline development, including FME Desktop & Server, Azure Data Factory, AWS Kinesis, Spark;
  • Data and Reporting Platform development on environments using technologies such as Microsoft Azure, SAP BW, Teradata, PowerBI or Cognos;
  • A strong background in coding with possible experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL or R.

The salary range for this role is AUD 90,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
