Early Childhood Teacher and Director

This role combines the responsibilities of a classroom Early Childhood Teacher and a Director, working five days per fortnight in each capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a mixed-age early childhood group with developmentally appropriate programs
  • Implement quality Christian learning experiences guided by the Reggio Emilia approach
  • Oversee curriculum, staff engagement, and policy development
  • Partner with families to support each child's learning and wellbeing
  • Support administrative processes, including rostering and enrolment coordination
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor-level Early Childhood Teaching qualification and Queensland Teacher Registration. Additionally, prior experience in a leadership or director role within an early learning service, strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and experience working with Quality Improvement Plans and early learning policies will be highly valued.
