Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.
  2. Assemble and install new mechanical assemblies and components, utilizing your expertise to optimize performance and efficiency.
  3. Supervise and participate in inspections and maintenance of machines and plant, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  4. Estimate material costs and quantities, and machine requirements, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
  5. Conduct field and laboratory tests on equipment, analyzing data to inform maintenance and improvement strategies.
  6. Collect and analyze operational and maintenance data, performing complex computations and preparing diagrams to support decision-making.
  7. Ensure that designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations, and contract provisions, upholding the highest standards of quality.
  8. Follow all reasonable instructions, using correct manual handling techniques and wearing/maintaining personal protective equipment as required.
  9. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including supervision, management, colleagues, clients, and visitors.
  10. Comply with all site safety requirements, reporting hazards and taking corrective action as necessary.
Requirements:
  1. A relevant degree or qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of post-graduate work experience in a similar role.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  5. Proven ability to work safely, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  6. Ability to work with organizational values, upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $135,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
