We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Aquatics Team as a Swimming Instructor and Pool Lifeguard on a Casual basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Swimming Instructor Responsibilities:
    • Delivering high-quality swimming lessons that meet program expectations
    • Creating a secure and enjoyable learning environment for all students
    • Helping students enhance their water safety knowledge and skills
    • Assisting in the development of new and existing swim programs
    • Conducting student evaluations with precision and accuracy
  • Pool Lifeguard Responsibilities:
    • Keeping a close watch on the pool area, anticipating and swiftly responding to potential risks
    • Being proficient at administering first-aid and resuscitation when needed
    • Ensuring everyone follows the facility rules while promoting safe aquatic practices
    • Taking proactive measures to guarantee the safety and well-being of our patrons and equipment
    • Providing excellent customer service, addressing questions, and completing daily checklists

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Learnto Swim and/or Lifeguard Certificate
  • Working with Children Blue Card
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Desirable: Teacher of Babies and Toddlers and Teacher of Learners with a Disability certifications
