Job Opportunity

The role of a Workday Extend Specialist involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust, scalable solutions.

This position requires expertise in developing and supporting integrations, orchestrations, and APIs using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security configurations aligned with Workday's security model, conducting unit and system testing, troubleshooting and resolving issues across development and production environments.

A successful candidate will have strong documentation skills, including solution designs, technical specifications, and deployment processes.

Staying informed on Workday product updates and new Extend capabilities is crucial for success in this role.

Designing solutions to solve complex business requirements is also an essential aspect of this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Workday Extend development
  • Proficiency with Workday Studio, WQL, REST & SOAP APIs, XSLT, and JSON/XML
  • Solid understanding of Workday's data model, security architecture, and business process framework
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly
  • Experience delivering solutions in Agile or iterative project environments

Desirable Skills:

  • Workday certifications (Workday Extend, Core HCM, Integrations)
  • Experience with Workday Orchestrations or Workday Journeys
  • Exposure to enterprise HR or finance systems within an organisational context
