Key Responsibilities

The Multicultural Health Services Team Leader coordinates planning, development, and implementation of partnership initiatives and strategies to improve access to health services and outcomes for refugee and priority migrant populations in Western Sydney.

About the Role

This includes operational management of a team of Multicultural Health staff.

The Multicultural Health Services Team Leader oversees the planning, development, and implementation of partnership initiatives and strategies to enhance access to health services and outcomes for refugees and migrant populations in Western Sydney.

  • Developing and managing partnerships with stakeholders to drive health outcomes.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver projects and programs.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with multicultural health issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage staff and provide project management support.
  • Experience in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating health-related evidence-based projects, studies, and programs.
  • Consultation and negotiation skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a cross-cultural context and identify local issues and barriers experienced by refugee and migrant health consumers.
  • High-level experience in cultural diversity education and training.
