Job Description

We are seeking a Design Professional to work on building structures projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and analyzing conventional steel buildings, including framing plans.

About the Position

In this role, you will be responsible for direct and analyze structural drawings for new buildings, additions, and renovations. You will also design shallow foundations, slabs, modest retaining walls, pits, and steel reinforcing.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop detailed structural designs for commercial, industrial, educational, and healthcare projects.
  2. Direct and analyze structural drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  3. Analyze structural systems and materials to determine their feasibility and effectiveness.
  4. Communicate effectively with architectural and civil staff to coordinate designs.
  5. Review and seal structural drawings for submission to jurisdictions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineer License, or ability to obtain it within a year.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience performing concrete and steel engineering work.
  • Proficient in CAD, Tekla, or Revit software.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities.
