Water Infrastructure Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Water Infrastructure Structural Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of our water team, you will play a key role in the design and assessment of various water and wastewater structures.

  • You will be responsible for performing advanced structural engineering design tasks on assigned projects under minimal supervision, including engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and applications to regulatory agencies.
  • You will develop project scope, budgets, and design approaches for small-sized projects and support marketing and business development professionals in positioning for potential projects.
  • You will collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors in preparation and coordination of project specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in the field of water infrastructure structural engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
  • Holding or working towards RPEQ and / or Chartership is highly regarded.
  • 8 years' experience within a consulting engineering practice.
  • Involvement in the structural design of civil or industrial infrastructure with a focus on concrete and steel.
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities to develop practical solutions to structural engineering challenges.
