Job Role Overview
As a member of our office team, the Electorate Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering services to our community.
The ideal candidate will have strong initiative and organisational abilities, enabling them to work autonomously, prioritise tasks effectively and perform a wide range of office support duties with minimal supervision.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to undertake research and prepare well-written materials. Excellent computer skills, particularly in MS suite software, are also required.

Key Responsibilities
- Communications Planning: Develop and implement effective communications strategies to engage with our constituents and stakeholders.
- Social Media Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote our office's initiatives and maintain a strong online presence.
- Parliamentary Duties: Participate in parliamentary proceedings and provide administrative support to our Member of Parliament.
- Constituent Services: Provide excellent customer service to our constituents, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically and strategically, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing solutions to complex problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational abilities, including the capacity to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS suite software, with experience in using and maintaining online communications systems.
