Job Opportunity:

As a Network Specialist at Helix Services, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and implementing enterprise-scale network solutions for our national security clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and implement physical and virtual network architectures across multiple domains
  • Automate the deployment, configuration, and management of network devices from various vendors
  • Develop detailed design and operational artefacts to support delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure networking best practices are followed
Essential Qualifications & Capabilities:
  • Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing enterprise routers and switches, including Cisco
  • Strong understanding of networking best practices within a SDDC and virtual networking
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol, VLAN configuration, DNS, DHCP, and SNMPv3
  • Experience working with Radius-based identity and authentication controls and Active Directory
  • NV2 clearance is a minimum requirement for this environment
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Automating network device configuration and backup/restore
  • Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, and VMWare products
  • DevSecOps model expertise, with a focus on CI/CD methodologies
  • Packet capture techniques across various network devices and vendors
