About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strata Underwriter to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
  • Manage book of business, ensuring adherence to underwriting standards and workflows.
  • Promote sales and marketing initiatives to prospect for new business across SBU/product lines and broker segments.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement intelligent solutions to complex underwriting situations.
  • Subject matter expertise in pricing techniques, alternative risk transfer, and reserve development.
  • Working knowledge of key accounts within the Branch.
  • Understanding of underwriting appetites across departments and associated relationships with interdepartmental accounts.
