Job Description

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our Australian Property and Casualty Broking/Placement team. The role includes managing placement requirements for clients, developing new markets and products, converting prospects, identifying market opportunities, and retaining clients.

The ideal candidate will apply their in-depth knowledge of domestic and overseas market appetite for Property and Casualty risks to:

  • Advise clients on the best access points for key insurers.
  • Balance placements between markets to achieve sustainability and optimum pricing.
  • Develop and drive broking strategy in collaboration with client relationship directors, servicers, and advocates.
  • Represent the company in client and insurer presentations and assist in driving strategy for tender responses.
  • Support client servicers in managing and meeting client expectations.
Requirements

We are looking for a strong leader with excellent market advocacy skills and the ability to develop client/carrier relationships. You should have considerable experience in Property and Casualty broking and servicing complex clients, supported by relevant qualifications and commercial acumen.

You will also need:

  • In-depth knowledge of Property and Casualty products and classes.
  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Drive, ambition, and a focus on excellence.
