About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Tradesperson - Electrical to join our team at Star Group Of Companies Australia. As an Industrial Tradesperson - Electrical, you will be responsible for delivering various projects in the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a wide range of heavy industrial-type electrical activities, including power, lighting, and cable tray installations.
  • Perform hazardous area installations and isolation, testing, and commissioning activities.
  • Install power, lighting, and instrumentation systems.
  • Deliver quality results without compromise to safety or the environment.
  • Timely completion of work activities, tasks, and paperwork.
  • Work under relevant safe systems of work, safety standards, and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working within the electrical industrial industry, specifically in Service and Maintenance, or experience working in heavy industrial sites such as manufacturing, materials handling, and Blue Scope steel.
  • Valid NSW Electrical Licence and trade qualifications.
  • Construction Safety White Card (or equivalent with another recognised State).
  • Current LVR/CPR.
  • Working at Heights Certificate.
  • EWP and/or Scissor Lift Yellow Card.
  • High-Risk National Licence (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills concerning technical fault finding.
  • Able to work in a team environment and support and assist team members when required.
  • Solid experience working in an industrial environment.
  • Experience working autonomously, taking responsibility for the quality of deliverables and meeting deadlines without compromise to safety or the environment.
