Defence Project Hydraulic Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Project Hydraulic Engineer to play a key role in the procurement and delivery of a multi-year defence project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing hydraulic designs, preparing project scope, and coordinating adjustments to ensure alignment with project requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve design and construction challenges.
  • Manage quality assurance for all hydraulic systems, conducting regular inspections to maintain high standards and compliance.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery and quality of hydraulic components and materials during the construction phase.
About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical or civil engineer with experience in Australia's construction industry to join our team.

  • A degree in mechanical or civil engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on water hydraulics.
  • A strong understanding of hydraulic design, construction processes, and installations.
  • Ability to manage procurement for hydraulic systems and quality assurance.
  • A great understanding of Australian standards and regulations.
