Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time Transport Operations Scheduler to join our dedicated team. The primary responsibility of this role is to plan, allocate and manage the day-to-day linehaul scheduling as well as local final mile deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will plan and allocate daily linehaul schedules and local final mile deliveries.
  • This role involves coordinating with drivers and sites to meet delivery and pickup slots.
  • Fleet operations need to be managed efficiently, taking into account driver well-being and requirements.
  • Improving processes and procedures to enhance customer service for clients and drivers is essential.
  • Maintaining equipment compliance and cleanliness through liaison with workshop staff is also required.
  • Driver training, inductions, toolbox meetings, and general administrative work form part of this role.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • A strong understanding of BFM and the ability to obtain TLIF0006 certificate is necessary.
  • An understanding of CoR requirements and law to meet fatigue, speed, maintenance, mass and D&L requirements is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in web-based transport management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office products are also required.
