About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Technician to join our team at Pact Group. As an experienced technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and maintainability of our manufacturing assets.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector. You will be responsible for performing root cause analysis on critical failures, actively supporting the implementation of capital projects, and demonstrating genuine safety-first leadership.

You will also be required to ensure reliability and maintainability of all equipment is at or above target levels, plan and manage maintenance work effectively with production, and conduct route cause analysis and investigations of safety incidents, environmental incidents, and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant and ensure action items derived are implemented and sustained
  • Actively support the implementation of capital projects
  • Demonstrate genuine safety-first leadership, leading by example
  • Ensuring reliability and maintainability of all equipment is at or above target levels
  • Plan and manage all maintenance work effectively with production, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime as possible
  • Conduct route cause analysis and investigations of safety incidents, environmental incidents, and breakdowns.
  • Periodically review all parts holdings on site to ensure they are up to date and stock records are accurate
  • Assess critical assets on an ongoing basis and implement defined actions to mitigate or minimise business risk
About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Trade qualified fitter C10 or higher
  • Good communication skills. (from shop floor to leadership team)
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Proven ability to problem solve for emergency maintenance and repair
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, superannuation, and generous annual leave entitlements.
