Key Responsibilities

  • Establish streamlined processes to develop, manage and track integrated program schedules (to task level) and lead program-wide planning activities.
  • Use visualization tools to bring schedules 'to life' and anchor workstreams around a common understanding of scope, critical path, milestones, and inter-dependencies.
  • Chair weekly stream lead status meetings, establish cadence, and processes to actively manage scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and benefits.
  • Ensure timely identification, resolution, and escalation of key risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate population of Steerco packs, undertake 'review and challenge' to ensure meaningful status reporting from stream leads, prepare Steerco agendas, capture minutes, and manage actions.
  • Develop a detailed PMO playbook that adheres to ANZ's delivery framework, articulates 'ways of working', including establishing governance processes, roles, and responsibilities aligned to deliverables (RACI), program controls, and resource management.
  • Maintain PPM – ANZ's core project portfolio management system for monthly status updates, health indicators, risk, issues, key milestones, benefits, and financials.
  • Assist the Program Director in documenting compelling funding submissions and managing yearly funding activities.

Requirements

  • Mastery-level proficiency in scheduling and visualization reporting tools for developing detailed plans.
  • Extensive experience establishing and embedding PMO/project delivery processes, bringing best practice tools and techniques for building integrated schedules, and upskilling SMEs in adoption of project delivery practices.
  • Proficient in supporting hybrid agile and waterfall delivery with an adaptable style that can flex between different tools and approaches meeting team needs.
  • Proven project delivery experience on multi-stream regulatory programs involving data sourcing and systems integration.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end project delivery through the SDLC lifecycle with good experience in solution vendor management.

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
