Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to play a critical role in the development and implementation of clinical governance frameworks at our service.

The successful candidate will provide high-level clinical consultation and advice to clinicians to build capacity and ensure the delivery of high-quality youth mental health services. They will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to staff, developing and implementing quality projects and initiatives, and working collaboratively with other services and partners in the community.

Key Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other relevant field
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
  • Post-qualifying experience, including demonstrated experience and in-depth understanding of therapeutic modalities, mental health assessment, and practice relevant to young people
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to crisis and high-risk situations
  • Demonstrated ability to consult, liaise, and negotiate with young people, family members, and carers seeking help in a non-judgmental manner
