Helping Hands Volunteer Driver

We are seeking volunteer drivers to transport elderly clients to respite sessions, medical appointments and social activities in the community.

As a volunteer driver, you will use our company vehicle or your own car (with reimbursement for kilometres) to safely and respectfully transport clients who need assistance with getting out and about.

To be eligible for this role:

  • You must hold a current Queensland driver's licence.
  • You should have a reliable car with full comprehensive insurance.
  • You should have good driving skills and be medically fit to drive.
  • You may need to obtain a Police Check and First Aid Certificate.
  • You should be Covid-19 vaccinated and up-to-date with annual influenza vaccinations.

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, committed and flexible with their working hours.
