Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Baiada's Oakburn Rendering Plant. As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance department operates at peak efficiency while upholding company safety policies and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically manage resources to prioritize maintenance requests that align with business needs and expectations.
- Exemplify and promote a leadership style that consistently supports a strong safety culture.
- Oversee the departmental budget and ensure all expenditures are in line with financial forecasts.
- Champion cultural change by empowering team members, modelling business principles, and enhancing leadership capabilities through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service consistently.
About You
- Proficiency in using the MEX maintenance system.
- A dual background in electrical and mechanical maintenance and experience in maintenance management is preferred.
- Ability to supervise maintenance shifts during after-hours operations.
- Knowledge of repairing a diverse range of plant equipment.
- Willingness to handle on-call duties, cover for staff absences, and commit to working one weekend per month.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
