**Job Overview**

This role involves managing various aspects of research information and reporting systems, including business process analysis, system specification, design, and construction.

Key responsibilities include ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems that contain research data, interfaces with other systems, determining high-level requirements and business processes, and system development to support major research management processes.

Liaising with software providers, IT, and Research Services staff is also a key aspect of this role.

Developing database queries and preparing reports from the Research System is another important task in this position.

As an integral member of the Research Systems Team, you will be providing technical expertise as we respond to changing research management processes.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

You should have experience in developing and implementing complex systems, as well as a deep understanding of business processes and research management.

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Computer Science or Information Systems) and/or a related qualification is required for this position.
