Vehicle Manufacturing Specialist

Gilani Engineering is a leading wheelchair accessible vehicle manufacturer in Australia, with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our Specialised Vehicle Manufacturing & Fitting Divisions as a vehicle accessory fitter/coach builder.
The ideal candidate will have experience in wheelchair accessible vehicle or mobility device modification industry, fabricating customised brackets for fittings, and specialised vehicle manufacturing, van conversions, or coach building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing aftermarket vehicle accessories such as boot hoists, wheelchair lift devices, and wheelchair restraint systems.
- Laying automotive-grade carpet and installing/removing internal fixtures like head lining and plastic trims.
- Fabricating custom-made brackets for vehicles.
Requirements:
- Experience in wheelchair accessible vehicle or mobility device modification industry (preferred).
- Experience fabricating customised brackets for fittings.
- Experience in specialised vehicle manufacturing, van conversions, or coach building.
