About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Engineer to join our team as a subject matter expert. Reporting to the R&M EIS Team Lead, you will provide national oversight and support our E&I Infrastructure across Distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic maintenance and capital planning initiatives
  • Manage improvement programs to enhance our E&I Infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain company standards for electrical systems
  • Support project design, procurement, and commissioning activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise on electrical instrumentation and systems
  • Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for electrical systems

About You

You will have proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on technical compliance and customer-aligned technical solutions. You will possess a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant certifications, such as High Voltage Operator Authorization and Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Classification.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering
  • High Voltage Operator Authorization certifications
  • Electrical Equipment Hazardous Area Classification, Plan, Design & Manage certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in oil/gas or related industry
  • Good understanding of requirements for electrical installations in hazardous areas
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Flexibility to travel when required based on operational needs
