Job Description

The Data Migration Team at CLIO is a key part of our Customer Success Department, focused on migrating customer data from legacy products into CLIO. This involves exporting data, importing data, processing data, and cleansing data. The team uses Extract, Transform, and Load terms to describe their work. As a Senior Migration Specialist, you will be part of this team, working closely with our Customer Enablement team and Product team to automate the data migration process for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data transformations and validations based on customer needs and workflows.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the data migration process.
  • Design, build, and maintain automation tools using scripting languages to extract data, map and transform customer workflows, and load into CLIO products.
  • Assist with scoping and timelines for APAC migrations and act as a proactive player with internal stakeholders.
  • Talk to potential customers to position the value of migration packages and assist with closing opportunities.
  • Plan, lead, and own projects from end to end and participate in cross-departmental initiatives.
  • Be confident, articulate, and sensitive to the needs of customers and internal partners.
  • Contribute to the customer-facing knowledge base and partner with other teams to develop processes around data transformation, extraction, and training activities.
  • Gain a deep understanding of and stay up to date with the CLIO product and common workflows.
  • Look for process and technology improvements to enhance the customer journey and automate the function of the role.

Requirements
  • A healthy customer obsession and focus on delivering exceptional client experience.
  • 5+ years of data migration experience, preferably in the legal tech space.
  • 3-5 years of experience with coding/scripting/SQL queries.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
  • A proactive mindset and effortless communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
