Data Migration Specialist

Talent International is partnering with a large government organisation to source an experienced 'HCM Program Data Analyst'. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data management and migration strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

The role involves supporting the development of data migration designs and plans, collaborating with subject matter experts and internal department stakeholders to understand legacy data requirements. Additionally, you will contribute to data profiling activities, provide guidance on source data cleansing, and create and maintain source-to-target data mappings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Migration
  • Develop data migration designs and plans in collaboration with the Functional stream and solution implementation partner
  • Support the development of data management and migration strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
  • Data Profiling and Cleansing
  • Contribute to data profiling activities to identify data quality issues and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide guidance to service and support units on source data cleansing activities
  • Data Migration Execution
  • Create and maintain source-to-target data mappings to ensure accurate data transfer
  • Collaborate with the data migration partner to undertake extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) tasks
  • Assist with data migration runs and related activities to ensure seamless execution

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis and migration in large organisations
  • At least 3 years of experience in data migration with HR data sets within HCM systems
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP ERP Central Component (ECC)
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and draw insights based on underlying data
  • Communication and Documentation
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders

Salary: Estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
