Electrical Maintenance Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in electrical maintenance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment, including inspections, testing, and repairs
  • Identifying and troubleshooting electrical faults, and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth plant operations
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including reports and documentation

Requirements:

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Current WA A class electrical workers licence
  • High voltage ticket and experience with HV Switching
  • Previous experience as an electrical tradesperson or Electrical / Instrumentation Technician in a continuous operating plant environment
  • Experience in PLC systems and control communication systems
  • Basic instrumentation experience
  • Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
  • Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
