Job Title: Subcontract Coordinator

The subcontract coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the project team with the procurement of goods and services.

This includes registering and qualifying subcontracts, ensuring compliance with existing master services agreements, and assisting with the development of the project subcontracting strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Registering and qualifying subcontracts through designated platforms.
  • Ensuring use of existing master services agreement providers for relevant goods and services.
  • Assisting with the project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts.
  • Supporting internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts.

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of experience as a commercial or contracts advisor on engineering, procurement, and construction projects.
  • Knowledge of subcontracting processes, contract management, and procurement principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Candidates should possess a tertiary qualification in supply chain, engineering, quantity surveying, law, or construction management and economics (CM&E). The ideal candidate will also have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
