Warehouse Operations Assistant

Ensuring Efficient Inventory Management and Safe Warehouse Environment

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, physical ability to operate heavy machinery, and basic knowledge of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completes daily safety checks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Operates electric forklifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise efficiently.
  • Transfers merchandise from receiving to storage or sales floors based on written lists and verbal instructions.
  • Stacks product from partial pallets onto full pallets and removes empty pallets from sales floors.
  • Communicates with floor managers to prioritize tasks and determine product placement.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Wraps pallets in plastic film and attaches product tags.
  • Assists with front-end duties and provides support to other departments as needed.
  • Provides excellent customer service by helping members load large items and directing them to products.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to operate heavy machinery and lift up to 50 kg.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
