Specialist General Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist General Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team in a regional referral hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced physician to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with complex medical conditions
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Developing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient care
  • Participating in quality improvement activities to ensure safe and effective care

Requirements:

  • Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Physician or equivalent qualifications and experience
  • Current clinical practice relevant to Hospital in the Home service at role delineation level
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership when required
  • Effective clinical communication skills through written, verbal and interpersonal means
  • Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
