About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at KB Seafood Co in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for achieving new sales and profitability targets, developing new business relationships, and promoting our products to the Independent Retail network.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales, account management, or merchandising, with a strong ability to achieve success. You will be a genuine, natural, and passionate leader who is passionate about delivering strong results. You will have a strong understanding of the customer, develop strong networks both internally and externally, and have a genuine ability to partner with the customer to drive results and success.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Own and drive margin growth.
  • Manage the profitability, customer satisfaction, and holistic well-being of each client and each channel.
  • Ensure all daily sales operations are performed within company guidelines and in accordance with KB best practices.
  • Continually review the current plan and financial metrics to ensure financial year targets are met.
  • Prepare and report on monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales against forecasted sales.
About You

You will have a strong background in sales, account management, or merchandising, with a proven ability to achieve success. You will be a genuine, natural, and passionate leader who is passionate about delivering strong results. You will have a strong understanding of the customer, develop strong networks both internally and externally, and have a genuine ability to partner with the customer to drive results and success.

You will have:

  • Sales or Merchandise experience with IGA group networks in NSW.
  • A love to be face-to-face with clients.
  • Experience in Seafood, Meat, Poultry highly regarded but not essential.
  • A current Australian driver's license.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent relationship skills.
  • A collaborative style and ability to work effectively with people from all departments.
  • A high level of computer literacy with advanced level of Microsoft Office knowledge.
