Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Expert to join our growing protective security capability group. The role is based out of Newcastle, NSW.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing expert advice on cyber security matters and working with clients to improve their cyber worthiness culture.

You will lead or be part of a team developing, implementing and maintaining the cyber worthiness program for multiple defence platforms.

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a defence domain
  • Demonstrated understanding of defence cyber-worthiness
  • Demonstrated understanding of ICT Accreditation processes for platform and system acquisition and sustainment
  • Demonstrated understanding of the impact of CASA or DASA requirements upon platform accreditation
Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to bring extensive experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a defence domain, demonstrated understanding of defence cyber-worthiness and ICT Accreditation processes, as well as excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Applicants will also need to hold an existing Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance of at least NV2 and preferably PV.
