About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Editor / Studio Operator to join our Regional TV News team based in Launceston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for editing and delivering news updates and stories for regional television markets across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit and deliver news updates and stories for regional television markets across Australia.
  • Source and ingest news footage and capture live feed recordings from multiple outlets and platforms.
  • Basic studio operations, including camera, vision mixing, audio and news ingest.
  • Assist journalists in newsgathering, adhering to tight deadlines.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience working with nonlinear editing platforms.
  • Experience with vision mixers and studio operations equipment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with graphics production software and systems.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure against multiple daily deadlines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
