About the Role

Elders Rural is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Advisor to join our People and Performance team. As a key enabler of our business strategic plan, you will play a vital role in delivering targeted technical and business training across our network.

As a Learning and Development Advisor, you will be responsible for the administration of our Learning Management System (Workday) and ensuring that our training initiatives align with our business goals. You will work closely with the L&D Manager to develop, design, and implement our learning strategy, and collaborate with teams to identify learning needs and develop tailored training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the L&D team to develop, design, and implement the Elders learning strategy
  • Assist the Digital Learning team with e-Learning administration and integration
  • Design and facilitate engaging training sessions, both virtually and face-to-face
  • Design and coordinate pre- and post-work assessments, manage accreditations for in-house programs
  • Collaborate with teams to identify learning needs and develop tailored training programs
  • Apply Adult Learning Principles and instructional design methodologies to create effective learning experiences
  • Support the greater People and Performance team to facilitate training to a variety of audiences across the Elders business
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or relevant tertiary qualifications)
  • Experience in a similar position, within a large complex organisation
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate face-to-face and virtual training sessions
  • Demonstrated experience in Instructional Design
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing learning management systems (Workday preferred)
  • Previous experience working across multiple functions, including Early Careers
