Job Opportunity: Lead Automotive Education

This is a permanent full-time leadership position based at Muswellbrook, with travel to Cessnock and Singleton to support teaching sections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate educational programs and provide mentorship and support to teaching staff.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
  • Foster relationships with industry and community stakeholders to maintain relevant and impactful training.
  • Oversee educational leadership activities and manage administrative responsibilities within the automotive area.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possession of AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant technical or professional qualifications, along with vocational and/or industrial experience to teach in the principal areas supervised by the head teacher position.
  • Completion of an approved program of teacher education, or evidence of successful completion and/or undertaking current studies of an acceptable teaching qualification (AQF Level 5 or higher in VET/Adult Education OR hold a TAE40116 or equivalent and commit to obtaining AQF Level 5 or higher within 18 months of employment).
  • Substantial industry experience in the automotive industry and/or related industry.
  • Able to meet all essential requirements listed in the position description.
