Community Engagement Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to building capability in the world's largest volunteer fire agency.

You will be based at the NSW Rural Fire Service State Headquarters in Sydney Olympic Park, working closely with the Community Engagement Team to research, design, and deliver new and updated training.

The goal of this role is to integrate best practice community engagement into a learning and development framework, ensuring that residents of NSW are equipped with the skills and knowledge to protect themselves and their property from fire and other emergencies.

You will work with program designers as well as RFS members across NSW to develop and implement training programs. A strong understanding of vocational training and assessment is essential for this role.

A passion for designing training programs, robust understanding of emergency services training culture, policies, and framework, and an ability to build rapport with NSW RFS members are also key requirements.
