About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Home Care Worker to join our team in the ACT region. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in enabling older Australians to maintain their independence and live their life, their way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support and personal care to clients in their homes
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as meal preparation and cleaning
  • Support clients in a social capacity, including transportation to community events
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Respect clients' dignity, privacy, and autonomy
Requirements
  • Certificate 3 in Ageing Support or Individual Support (or approved equivalent)
  • Relevant work experience in home care or a related field
  • Working Vulnerable People Card, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Full Driver's Licence and own vehicle
  • COVID-19 Vaccination History Certificate
