Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Site Operative to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in the successful completion of various construction projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with site setup and cleanup
  • Safely moving and handling materials and equipment
  • Operating hand and power tools
  • Providing support with formwork, basic steel fixing, and concrete work
  • Directing traffic and managing deliveries
  • Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety procedures and guidelines
  • Performing ad-hoc duties under the guidance of your supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A construction industry white card
  • A valid ticket for any of the following competencies: Traffic management, First aid certificate, Electrical spotters, Elevated work platform, Hoist Operator, Telehandler
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Two recent contactable references from a site manager, foreman or PM
  • Physical fitness or the ability to perform heavy labour
  • Minimum experience 18-24 months' labouring on a construction site
