About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee and manage contractual agreements with Defence for the region, ensuring optimal performance. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of contractual agreements with service providers across multiple bases, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions at each location.
  • Develop, monitor, and control budgets for base services across the state to ensure cost-effective operations and consistency in financial management.
  • Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations to ensure service providers at each base meet contractual obligations and maintain high standards.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including military personnel, service providers, and government officials, across all bases to ensure alignment and effective communication.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in business administration, management, logistics, or a related field, or relevant experience in a senior management position managing a high-profile critical portfolio. They will also have proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in complex operational environments, as well as demonstrated ability to prepare and present regular reports on contract performance, budget status, and operational issues to senior management.
