We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Health and Safety Manager.

This position will be responsible for promoting a positive health and safe culture by implementing integrated management systems and processes within our Construction Materials segment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Group Health & Safety Managers, Business Unit Managers, and HSEQ officers/advisors.

About the Role:

  • Develop, manage, and monitor HSEQ performance across our Construction Materials business.
  • Deliver diverse and contemporary health and safety approaches and practices within our Construction Materials business.
  • Consult with key stakeholders, including Group Health & Safety Managers, Business Unit Managers, and HSEQ officers/advisors, to identify priorities and provide high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement effective HSEQ management systems and processes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on HSEQ matters to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on HSEQ performance and initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance HSEQ performance.

What You'll Need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HSEQ management systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
