Project Manager - Lead Complex Projects

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects. This role will involve driving project management and governance, source and build strong client relationships, and provide leadership to team members.


The Role

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced project manager to make a genuine impact in our Rail Team. You'll be responsible for managing large, complex, and nationally significant projects with accountability to senior management.

  • Lead project management and governance of large, complex and nationally significant projects.
  • Source, build and maintain strong and effective client relationships through successful project delivery and targeted activities.
  • Provide leadership and proactively collaborate with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
About You

Applicants will require:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Project Management qualifications highly desirable.
  • 15-20 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within Rail, with the ability to manage and direct major projects successfully to client specifications.

  • Significant experience in the coordination, design, and delivery of complex projects of national significance.
  • Ability to effectively lead, motivate, manage, develop, and resource a high-performing team.
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
