Warehouse Coordinator Role
Job Overview:- This position involves overseeing the efficient management of store inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained within established parameters.
- A key aspect of the role is to locate, order, and issue parts in a timely manner, thereby supporting the smooth operation of our workshop.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing invoices and job cards, as well as liaising with various stakeholders including managers, supervisors, equipment operators, and workshop staff.
- Maintaining detailed documentation and records for all parts and transactions is also an essential part of this role.
- The individual will identify and minimize obsolete or slow-moving stock, while also providing support with general administrative functions as required.
- An additional responsibility is to report hazards in the workplace and ensure compliance with OHS policies.
- Manage store inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained within established parameters.
- Locate, order, and issue parts in a timely manner.
- Process invoices and job cards accurately.
- Liaise with various stakeholders, including managers, supervisors, equipment operators, and workshop staff.
- Maintain detailed documentation and records for all parts and transactions.
- Identify and minimize obsolete or slow-moving stock.
- Provide support with general administrative functions as required.
- Report hazards in the workplace and ensure compliance with OHS policies.
- You will be highly self-motivated with a positive attitude, possessing excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Prior experience in a busy workshop or maintenance operation would be beneficial.
- A strong knowledge of auto and truck parts, along with technical aptitude, is essential for this role.
- You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry is also necessary.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- A forklift license is preferred but not mandatory; however, you must be willing to obtain one if not already held.
- You will comply with our Health & Safety policies and legislative requirements at all times.
- FOLLOW SAFE WORK PROCEDURES AND USE PROVIDED PPE AT ALL TIMES.
- REPORT HAZARDS, INCIDENTS, OR NEAR MISSES IMMEDIATELY TO THE TEAM LEAD.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the workplace.
- Participate in OHS training, drills, and monitoring activities as scheduled.
