About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician/Technician to join our high-performing Technical Services Group in Melbourne, Victoria.

This role will work across the Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs, managing the equipment installation of KONE's elevator products, from low-rise housing to the world's tallest skyscrapers.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Attend critical breakdowns on elevators and escalators.
  • Utilize strong experience in fault finding and attending to maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures, including health, quality, and safety standards.
  • Work to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region.
Requirements
  • 5 years of lift industry experience, preferably post-apprenticeship.
  • Qualified electrical license required.
  • Experience in technical fault finding, tuning, setup, and full testing of new and existing lifts across the entire range of KONE products, as well as 3rd-party products (NKE).
  • Ability to manage critical breakdowns and key stakeholders' expectations.
  • Motivated and self-starter who can manage workloads and competing priorities.
  • Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.
  • A customer service mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
