About the Project
Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. This project will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, featuring the most sustainable production processes.
Project Overview
The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, while delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training, and business opportunities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Electricians will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems.
- Riggers/Scaffolders will ensure the safe and efficient installation of equipment and materials.
- Plant Operators will oversee the operation of plant equipment and machinery.
- Crane Operators will safely and efficiently operate cranes to move heavy loads.
- Trade Assistants (Mechanical/Electrical) will assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks.
- Storepersons will manage inventory and supplies.
- Pipe Fitters/Pipe Welders will install and maintain piping systems.
- Mechanical Fitters will repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Welders/Boilermakers will join and shape metal components.
- Instrument Fitters will install and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
Work Environment
These roles will be based on site in Karratha, suitable for local residents or those willing to work on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis from Perth or other major capital cities across Australia.
Requirements
All roles will require a valid white construction card (or equivalent) and relevant qualifications and certificates.
