Technical Business Analyst Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the customer experience and requirements on technically-lead projects. This involves conducting analytical business analysis, gathering requirements, and influencing decisions within the Software Engineering and digital space.

You will be responsible for establishing and driving requirements gathering activities with a focus on systems integration, API interfaces, and data flows. This includes organising and facilitating requirements workshops, creating user personas and user journeys, and creating documentation such as use cases, user stories, technical data flow diagrams, prototypes, wireframes, proposals, and strategy documents.

Collaboration with Product Management and Product Ownership teams is essential to ensure technical and data integration requirements are prioritised and that delivery backlogs are groomed and maintained. A servant leadership style will be adopted to support the team(s) in achieving sustainable pace and resolving complex technical challenges.

A key aspect of success in this role is your commitment to agile principles and practices. You will also be required to communicate effectively with stakeholders to elicit requirements and seek opportunities to improve their business.

Required skills and qualifications include experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a track record of delivering enterprise projects involving systems integration and data-driven solutions. Strong ability to influence stakeholder relationships, elicit technical requirements, and drive team performance in complex integration environments is also essential.

Hands-on experience with integration projects (APIs, middleware, data pipelines), deep understanding of data flows, and a development background or strong knowledge of the SDLC are preferred. Excellent documentation and communication skills, especially relating to technical and data requirements, are also necessary.
