About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Investment Leader to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our APAC Equities team, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our equity investment strategies across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with our portfolio managers and analysts to cultivate a deep understanding of our investment approaches, underlying securities, and results.
  • Work closely with our Client Coverage distribution team and marketing teams to position our equity investment strategies with targeted clients and prospects.
  • Develop and deliver investment, market, and business communications to existing and prospective clients.
  • Provide updates on overall financial markets performance, economic trends, and the overall investment outlook.
  • Become a spokesperson with the ability to present a deep understanding of the equity investment process, market outlook, and strong advocate for our services.
  • Prepare for client meetings, including updating presentation materials, portfolio review, competitor analysis, and market update slides.
  • Continually create new sales content ideas and ways to advocate our products across the target markets.
  • Work closely with other SSGA teams, including Marketing, Product, and Capital Markets.
  • Carry out market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.
