Your Role

As Director, People & Culture Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Business Partnering at UNSW. You will lead the transformation of our existing Business Partnering model, focusing on strategic partnering, data-driven decision-making, and strengthening culture and employee experience through coaching and empowering leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to foster engagement and drive meaningful change within the organization
  • Lead the evolution of our Business Partnering model, enabling strategic partnering and evolving partnership with the business
  • Influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders to drive change and transformation
  • Manage HR/P&C teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
  • Implement HR/P&C transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and employee experience

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in workforce strategy, talent management, and organizational capability development
  • A track record of implementing HR/P&C transformation initiatives that improve efficiency and employee experience
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence across a decentralized environment
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • High level of emotional intelligence, communication, and negotiation skills
